As moms, we all know to carry diapers, wipes, and pacifiers in our diaper bag. We always have the essentials and never leave the house without them. But have you ever been out with your kids only to have something happen and realize you don't have what you need in your diaper bag? We know many moms who have experienced this so we thought we would share some of the most important things you should carry in your diaper bag but never think about.
1. First Aid Kit
This is one of those things you don't think about till you need it, so always having it is the way to go. We have all experienced the bumps and bruises are kids get when they are playing or even just walking around. Having band-aids always on hand will make those little accidents bearable and easier to contain. Your kids will be happier and you will most likely avoid a tantrum in the end!
2. Hand Sanitizer
A lot of moms already carry this, but a lot of times it gets lost or is forgotten about. It is so important to have this when you're on-the-go. Sudden diaper changes, dirty playgrounds, and quick lunches are all things we have to deal with, and having a way to get those germs off your kid's hands is ideal. If you're always losing your hand sanitizer or forget to use it, try getting one that hooks to the zipper of your diaper bag. It will always be there for you, and you won't ever forget it!
3. Wet Bag
It's summertime and a wet bag is perfect for wet swimsuits. It is also useful for clothes that have experienced a blowout or throw up, or even if you don't have a trash can and you have a dirty diaper. Having a bag to put those things in, will save you the hassle of having to wash your diaper bag because poop got all over it. Trust me, keeping a bag like this is one of the best things you will ever do.
